About Walt Gonske

Gonske studied with illustrator Frank Reilly before moving into a career as a freelance illustrator, where he was published in Esquire, Life, The New Yorker, and Playboy. In his oils, Gonske aims to preserve the past through a visual record of the virginal Southwestern landscape. His awards and gallery exhibitions are numerous. Gonske currently lives and works from Taos, New Mexico.
