About Dan Young

Dan Young was raised in western Colorado, and later moved to Dallas to pursue commercial art after his graduation from the Colorado Institute of Art. Though very successful as an illustrator, he longed for the beautiful landscapes of the Rockies, eventually returning to Colorado to paint full-time. He spends as much as half of his painting life outdoors, on location. Young's works continue to grow in popularity and receive critical praise.
